In developing countries - Harambee - Together for the Development realizes co-operational projects for development. In a sustained development process , the primary responsibility is up to the authorities of the country, both locally and centrally, which in turn must conduct measures that are adequately in favour or which enable endogenous pushes towards development. The foreign governmental or not governmental organization can give inputs and know-how, but the main action for development has to be absolutely the local sector. Otherwise the repeated dynamics of assistance and dependence on middle-long terms don’t produce benefits and morover frequently cause damage.
On the base of this evidence, Harambee- Together for the Development pursues to the maximum involvement of the communities and the local authorities, in and of every form and degree.
